| PETRONAS Chemicals
Group Berhad, or PCG,
is the largest petrochemical company in Malaysia
and one of the largest petrochemical producers
in Southeast Asia. The plan for the listing of
PCG was first announced by the Prime Minister
of Malaysia at the Invest Malaysia 2010 conference
and formed part of the Malaysian Government’s
efforts to make more public sector companies available
to domestic and international investors and to
boost liquidity in Malaysia’s capital markets.
PCG made its debut on the Main Market of Bursa
Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Malaysian bourse,
on 26 November 2010 as the biggest initial public
offering (IPO) in Malaysia and Southeast Asia
